Starz Entertainment’s “Tina Furniture,” starring the cast of “Arrested Development” and “The Mindy Project,” is available for $7.99 from Amazon and has been making its way to other retailers.
The series follows Tina (Lizzy Caplan), who lives with her husband and two children on a small Manhattan apartment block and dreams of owning a large mansion, and her friends, who are all aspiring fashion designers.
But Tina’s aspirations are thwarted by her father (Mark Duplass), who works at a prestigious fashion company, and the children are constantly at odds with each other.
Tina’s husband, Jack (Josh Radnor), also has an ambitious career as a fashion designer, but his work suffers as his daughter’s fashion collection becomes more successful.
The show’s cast includes Amy Sedaris, Josh Radnor, Josh Schwartz, Mark Duplass, Rachel Dratch, and Will Arnett.
In an interview with EW, Starz said it has not yet found the right distributor to distribute the series to its customers.
“We’re in the process of looking for a partner that would take the show to Amazon,” the company said.
“If we find a partner, it would be a big boost for our customers and the industry.”
